사건 재현 서사의 기억 특성과 상호 텍스트성 독해 : 인혁당재건위 사건 서사를 중심으로

이 연구의 목적은 속칭 ‘인혁당 재건위 사건’(2차 인혁당 사건)을 재현한 서사를 대상으로 소통적 기억의 일례로써 기억 특성을 살피고 이를 상호텍스트성에 기반해 독해함으로써 사건 기억의 분유(分有) 가능성을 논의하는 데 있다. ‘인혁당 재건위 사건’은, 오랜 시간 ‘비공식적 반기억’의 상태에 있다가 유족과 관련자들의 기억 운동 끝에 재심을 거쳐 2007년 무죄가 선고된 바 있다. 그러나 아직 사회적 공인이 완료된 국가적인 기억 체제(memory regime) 속에 삽입되지 못한 채 변경의 기억 상태에 놓여 있다. 이 글에서는 먼저 이 사건을 우리 시대에 공유되어야 할 소통적 기억으로 보고 김원일의 『푸른 혼』(2005)과 권여선의 『토우의 집』(2014), 박건웅의 만화 『그해 봄』(2018)을 중심으로 기억 매체적 특성을 살펴 의미화하고자 했다. 작품들은 각각 문자와 몸을 매체로 당사자의 경험기억을 회복하거나 트라우마가 형성되는 과정, 정념기억이 회귀하는 과정을 그려냄으로써 공감의 여지를 생성하고 있다. 이후 상호텍스트성 독해를 통해 몸을 매체로 한 기억이 어떻게 고정적으로 존속 가능한 문자 매체의 기억으로 전화하는지를 논의하고 그 과정을 소통적 기억이 문화적 기억이 되는 데 필요한 ‘의미’를 확충해가는 상징적 작업으로 보았다.

The aim of the study is to discuss possibilities of sharing memories of an event that occurred in the past with the public based on a narrative of the Rehabilitation of Inhyeokdang (People's Revolutionary Party) as an example of communicative memory by researching characteristics of memory and comprehending it with intertextuality.

At long last, ‘counter-memory’ was re-examined by memory movement of the bereaved and the people concerned with it and the case resulted in an acquittal after a retrial in 2007. However, the incident has not be approved officially by means of monuments, historical books and etc. It can’t be involed in moemry regime and It still exists in memory state. In this paper, we asserted that the incident is considered as communicative memory, which means it is supposed to be open to the public and tried to extract meaning by characteristic of memory medium like in the books : Kim Won-il's Blue soul (2005), Kwon Yeo-seon's The house of clay doll (2014), Park Geon-woong's Spring of the Year (2018 as comic). The books describe recalling the lives of the characters, how trauma was formed and a return of passion memory by using text and physical medium and we can empathize with their pain from the books. After that, we try diverse approaches to search for meaning of making the incident reenacted in the form of literature through intertextuality.
