‘붉은 사랑’이라는 성 각본(Sexual Script)과 여성의 정서적 주권 : 여성 사회주의자 작가의 자기 서사를 중심으로

이 글에서 다루었던 강경애의 자전적 소설 ｢원고료 이백원｣(1935)과 박화성의 자전적 소설 『북국의 여명』(1935) 그리고 박화성의 자서전 『눈보라의 운하』(1963)는 ‘붉은 사랑’이라는 표어로서 상징되었던 사회주의 이념과 사랑이라는 두 가지의 축이 조선의 사회주의자 여성들의 삶 속에서 어떻게 현실화되었는가를 알려주는 중요한 자기 서사의 텍스트들이다. 강경애와 박화성은 자신들의 삶을 소재로 하여 사회주의적 성 각본인 ‘붉은 사랑’이 현실화되는 상황에서 남녀 사이에 작동하는 미시적인 권력의 모습과 여성이 느끼는 불안의 감정을 재현해내었다. 여성-사회주의자-작가의 교차적 정체성의 목소리를 반영하고 있는 이들의 서사는 언어화되지 못한 여성 사회주의자들의 경험에 ‘언어’를 부여한 사건으로 주목될 만하다. 여성들의 정서적 주권의 중요성을 보여주는 이들의 자기서사는 여성지라는 소통의 장에서 보다 친밀하다고 가정된 여성 독자들에게 여성 작가 자신의 내면을 열어 보임으로써 삶에 대한 작가 자신의 고민과 깨달음을 독자들과 공유하는 글쓰기 방식이었다.

Kang Kyung-ae and Park Hwa-sung, were the female socialists writers who exposed the contradiction of “Red love” through their self-narratives. They were socialists from the 1920s to the 1930s and were referred to as so-called fellow writers who sympathized with socialism. Especially Kang Kyung-ae's autobiographical novel Manuscript Fee two hundred won(1935), Park Hwa-sung's autobiographical novel The Dawn of the North(1935), and Park Hwa-sung's autobiography The Canal of Snowstorm(1963) are the important self- narrative texts of female socialists in Colonial Korea. They represented the microscopic power that works between men and women at a time when the socialist sexual script “Red Love” becomes a reality based on their lives. Their narratives, which reflect the voices of women, socialists, and writers' intersectional identity, deserve attention as an event that gave “language” to the experiences of unverbalized female socialists. In their own narratives, they showed anxiety while responding in different ways to the “poverty” forced in the marriage of socialists. Their self-narratives, which shows the importance of women's affective sovereignty, was a way of writing to share their worries about the direction of life with implied women readers by opening their minds in the field of communication of women's magazines.
