본고에서는 암시된 저자가 어떠한 인물에 공감하고 행동과 몸짓 등 어떤 측면을 중점화하였는지 살펴봄으로써, 이청준의 정신적· 정서적 의향을 파악해 보고자 한다. 특히 본고에서 다룰 4편의 소설 가운데서의 암시된 저자는 독자들의 신뢰를 얻기 어려운데 이는 등장인물의 모호한 진술 및 납득하기 어려운 행동 등으로 독자들을 혼란시키기 때문이다. 암시된 저자가 실제 저자의 잠재적 분신이라는 점을 감안할 때 이러한 암시된 저자에 대한 추론은 이청준 소설이 지닌 문학적 의미와 창작원리 과정을 다시 한 번 되짚어 보는 계기가 될 것이다. 2장에서는 콤플렉스로 인한 자기모멸과 그것을 탈피하기 위해 소심한 복수를 행하는 주인공들의 심리과정에 대해 논한다. 3장에서는 등장인물들의 내적 욕망이 합법적 테두리 안에서 어떤 방식으로 윤리적 균열을 가하는지에 대해 살펴보기로 한다.

이청준의 암시된 저자가 숨겨놓은 암호는 독자의 호기심과 긴장감을 불러일으키며 독자들로 하여금 관습과 법률에 의해 제도화된 기존의 사고방식을 되짚어 보는 기회를 마련해 준다.

In this paper, we focus first on how narrative methods are drawn by the implied author as a married couple relationship in his novel. On the basis of such analysis, we try to guess the intention of the artist in terms of the interpretation of the reader. At this point, the central theme is not intended to be intentional, but to reveal the conditions that the reader finds out about and finds the condition of the reader. In Chapter 2, we discuss the psychological process of the humiliation caused by the complex and the timid revenge to avoid it. Chapter 3 focuses on whether the inner desire of the narrator applies the crack of ethics within the legal framework. Lee Chung-Jun's novel has the aspect that the fundamental desire is a response to some frustration and aspires to an accident outside the conventional sense. Considering this point, this paper discusses how it succeeds in realizing pluralism towards opponents who have frustrated their desires and whether they act as a device to crack the institutional devices and norms in order to satisfy the surrogacy of desires through detour. I would like to point out that ‘spouse’ is nothing else. Through this, the writer tried to establish his own existence by breaking the reality through the unfamiliar couple relationship in the novel. The reader sees the desire of the individual against the common sense, and rather the active recognition of the implied author is made, and this point will be given a new meaning of the person's existence in Lee Chung Jun's novel.
