패전과 해방, 미귀환자의 반(反)이동의 정치성

초록

1945년 8월 15일 제국 일본의 패전과 식민지 조선의 해방이라는 역사적 사건이 구식민자로서 일본인들과 피식민자로서 조선인들에게 부여한 이동의 조건·문법·형식들은 대체로 국민(민족)국가의 실정성을 강화하는 방향으로 수렴되었다. 패전 국가로서 전후 레짐의 구축, 해방 조선의 민족국가 건설이라는 체제 변동 과정 속에서 일본인과 조선인의 이동은 국민(민족)국가의 경계 속으로 포섭되는 ‘당위적 귀환’으로 균질화되었던 것이다. 하지만 패전/해방 이후 일본과 조선으로 귀환하지 않았던/못했던 재조일본인과 재만조선인의 행위와 욕망을 통해서 개인들이 어떻게 생명정치의 메커니즘 속에서 포섭되면서 동시에 배제되는가를 확인할 수 있다. 또한, 확정된 국민(민족)국가의 경계를 기준으로 배제/포섭하는 것이 아닌, 포섭하는 것 못지않게 배제하는 과정을 통해서 그러한 경계를 획정해가고 있었음을 알 수 있다. 제국의 잔여이자 국민국가의 잉여로서 재조일본인과 재만조선인 미귀환자의 반이동의 정치성은 바로 여기에 있다.

Abstract

On August 15, 1945, the historical events of the empire's defeat of Japan and the liberation of colonial Joseon provided the conditions and forms of movement for the Japanese people and the Joseon people. And they were generally converged to strengthen the positivity of the nation-state. As a defeated nation, the Japanese and Koreans moved in the process of the regime change of postwar regime as a defeated nation, the construction of the national state of liberation Joseon. It was homogenized by 'supreme repatriation' which is subscribed to the boundaries of nation-state. However, there were Japanese and Joseon people who did not return to Japan and Joseon after the defeat/liberation. Through their actions and desires, we can see how individuals are excluded from the mechanism of life politics. In addition, it can be seen that the process of eliminating or submitting based on the boundaries of the established nation-state, but not excluding the inclusion, was defining the boundary. This is the politics of anti-movement of the Japanese and the Joseon people, who are remnant of the empire and surplus of the nation-state.
