김정은 시대 북한 과학환상문학의 특이점 : 가상의 현실화, 현실의 가상화
초록
본 논문의 목적은 김정은 시대 이후 북한 과학환상문학의 변화 양상과 그 원인을 고찰하는 것이다. 특히 가상과 현실이 중첩되는 파타피지컬의 측면에서 연구하고자 했다. 김정은 시대의 첫 번째 특징은 가상의 현실화이다. 김정은은 사회주의 문명국의 담론을 현실 속에서 재현하였다. 특히 평양을 스펙터클한 도시로 변화시켰으며, 문학은 이러한 변화를 유토피아의 도래로 형상화했다. 이는 독자들에게 가상(담론)과 현실이 중첩되는 체험을 선사했다. 과학환상문학도 예외는 아니었다. 현실의 가상화가 그것이다. 과거와 달리 김정은 시대의 과학환상문학은 ‘지금 여기’의 소재를 적극적으로 활용했다. 유토피아의 등장으로 여겨지는 현실의 소재들을 활용하였으며, 독자들은 현재와 작품 속 미래가 서로 연결되어 있다는 인상을 받았다. 이를 위해서 과학환상문학은 창작 명령(근거있는 과학적 환상의 적극적 활용)을 강조했다. 또 작품의 배경을 주로 근미래로 설정하였으며 현실적 소재들을 적극적으로 활용했다. 이는 김정은 시대가 ‘지금 여기’의 문제에 집중하고 있음을 보여주는 것이다. 수령의 교체와 이에 따른 변화의 갈망을 현실 속에서 보여주고자 하는 욕망은 과학환상문학의 ‘미래’를 관념적인 것에서 구체적인 것으로 변화시켰다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to study the changes and the causes of North Korean science fiction after the Kim Jong Un era. In particular, I tried to study the aspects of pataphysical that virtual and reality overlap. The first characteristic of the Kim Jong-un era is virtual reality. Kim Jong-un reproduced the discourse of socialist civilization in reality. In particular, Kim Jong-un transformed Pyongyang into a spectacular city, and literature embodied this change as the arrival of utopia. This gave the reader the experience of overlapping virtual (discourse) and reality. Sci-Fi Literature was no exception. That's the reality of virtualization. Unlike the past, science fiction in the Kim Jong-un era actively used the material of ‘here now’. Science fiction utilized the material of reality, which was considered the emergence of utopia, and readers were impressed by the connection between the present and the future in the work. To this end, science fiction emphasized the creation order(the active use of scientific illusions based). In addition, the background of the works was set mainly in the near future and actively used realistic materials. This shows that the Kim Jong-un era is concentrating on the issue of ‘now and here’. The desire to show in reality the desire for change by the replacement of the power changed the ‘future’ in science fiction from ideological to concrete.
